to B&M's first hypercoaster!

Apollo's Chariot turned 10 yesterday!

Was anyone there opening weekend riding it in the rain as I was doing with my friends?
Griffonluv

And it's way better than Behemoth, which isn't even a year old, for the record.

Amen.. It will always be one of the best B&M hypers in the world.
DarKoffee
I rode 3 times today.
There is a banner over the sign that says "10th anniversary" and when a train leaves the station, there is a recording that recognizes the anniversary as well.
CoasterMonkey
And that banner added to the theming, depending on how tacky it is.
CoasterTails
I couldn't resist.

Seriously?!

BBW opened June 1984 so its not 25 yet!
Brad
I realize that, but I was still adding it to the calendar that Apollo isn't the only one turning a major milestone this year.

Well when that time comes you can add a birthday thread for BBW!

Besides, BBW's opening day wasn't as eventful as Apollo's. The line sucked too as it backed up all the way across the bridge into San Marco past Ristorante della Piazza. And it broke down and was closed for about five hours. Not a grand opening for the ride!
Brad
Wait which coaster broke down? I'm assuming it's Apollo's Chariot.

No. BBW broke down on it's opening day. I'm glad I was able to ride it before it happened as I waited over three hours to get on.
