Went to the park Monday, and found Alpengeist out of service with a crane removing vital organs. It was down Tuesday and Wednesday as well. No one seemed to know quite what the problem is, and they seemed to believe it will be down a good, long while.

Anyone know what's going on?

My source says that there is a broken chain. Not sure if it is the lift chain or the chain in the motor for the lift

actually the whole lift motor was shaking and almost broke the chain

Everyone was talking bad about it and made it sad

It's probably all my fault...I was the first one to say it gave me a headache...WHOOPS...hahahahahha...It has been acting up quite a bit this season though.

Thats weird b/c I was there Friday July 10th and it was down. The crane was there also. The employee told me they had to replace a motor in the lift. They started testing it that evening but never opend Friday, they said it scheduled to reopen Sat July 11th.
